Exterior Restoration
Mold can grow on the exterior of buildings as well as on the interior. Bird feces on walls, roofs and walkways are unsightly and can become a health hazard. Acid rain and soot in the air erodes and mars all sorts of building exterior materials including brick, stone, concrete and Dryvit. Dripping rain from cornices and roof eaves erode mortar joints in masonry and becomes a source of water infiltration and interior damage. Dirty windows on all buildings, including high rises, need to be cleaned periodically. Metal windows and spandrels oxidize on glass and create unwashable windows. All of these conditions need professionals for cleaning and restoration.
ATI has a team of professionals who are expert in exterior restoration. These professionals know what materials and applications can remove mold, bird feces, soot, stains, oxidations and just dirt from various building surfaces. They are experienced and trained for ladders, lifts, bosom chairs and scaffolds. They are safety trained for fall protection, eye and head protection and all other hazards encountered in exterior restoration. Every project has a work plan developed with building officials in advance to minimize business interruption and maximize employee safety.
